Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Zeal Digital Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how it’s used. We never sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.
1. Who we are
Zeal Digital Marketing is a UK-based digital marketing consultancy. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at hello@zealdigitalmarketing.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
We collect two broad kinds of information:
- Information you give us directly — if you fill in our contact form or book a call, we collect what you enter: your name, email, company, phone number, and anything you write in the message field.
- Information collected automatically — if you accept cookies via the banner on this site, the tools listed below collect general usage data: pages viewed, how you found the site, device and browser type, and approximate location. This is aggregated and used to understand how the site is used, not to identify you individually.
3. Cookies and the tools that set them
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you’re happy for us to use analytics cookies. Google Analytics and HubSpot’s tracking cookie only load if you accept — declining, or ignoring the banner, means neither runs. Each service operates under its own privacy policy, linked below:
- Google Analytics — helps us understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, time on site, general location and device). See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- HubSpot — powers our contact form, live chat and marketing follow-up. If you submit the contact form or interact with our chat widget, HubSpot stores what you send us so we can reply and manage our relationship with you. See HubSpot’s Privacy Policy.
- Calendly — if you book a call with us, Calendly processes the booking details you provide (name, email, and the time you select). See Calendly’s Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — our hosting provider, which collects aggregated, cookie-free usage analytics (page views, load performance) to help us keep the site fast and reliable. This runs regardless of the banner choice above, since it doesn’t use cookies or identify individual visitors. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the footer of this site, or by controlling cookies through your browser settings directly.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to enquiries made through the contact form or booking call
- Understand how people use this site, so we can improve it
- Run and measure our own marketing, in aggregate and anonymised form wherever possible
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations
We will only contact you directly by email or phone if you’ve given us those details yourself, for example by submitting our contact form or booking a call. We don’t buy contact lists, and we don’t add you to marketing communications without your say-so.
5. We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party, under any circumstances. The tools listed in Section 3 act as our data processors — they handle data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments, and don’t use it for their own independent purposes.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as it’s useful to our relationship with you, or as required for our legal and accounting obligations, and delete it when it’s no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s own default settings (see their policies above).
7. International transfers
Some of the tools we use (Google, HubSpot, Vercel) may process data on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, those providers maintain their own safeguards for international transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses — see their individual policies for details.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your data
- Ask for your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@zealdigitalmarketing.co.uk. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
9. Children
This site isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new tool to the site. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
